We adults all tell stories about ourselves and who we are, and all of our stories change depending on the audience and what we think they want to hear. I am fascinated by the parts of the story you never hear, the parts of the person that you never see.

In my work, I try to use the whimsical vocabulary of children -- fables, dreams, and fairytales -- to tell stories about all parts of people – especially the parts that we adults normally hide.
